Obiit is a platform that set out to rethink how we cope with the passing of the people we know. We’ll continuously expand on what we’ve build using the following guidelines:
Make it a default that every human being is forever remembered, good, bad, rich or poor.
Make mourning more meaningful, more open and connected yet still deeply personal.
More deeply connect people with the memory of both their close and distant relatives.
Help people focus on dealing with their loss and less so with the formalities.
Give people in how they’ll be remembered.
Deeply respect everyones privacy, since its plain inappropriate not doing so in this context.
Be forever accessible for everyone, therefore free to use, in its core.
